Ruds Vedby Borgspil is an amateur dramatics theatre association with a professional touch, formed in 1988. The plays have over time travelled far and wide, from medieval Esben Snare to present Ruds Vedby. Sobriety and humour form a great union when local amateur actors express themselves. The plays are unique, as they are always written specifically for Ruds Vedby Borgspil and can only be seen at the group’s performances. The natural surroundings that form the plays’ setting speak for themselves, and create the perfect framework for the beautiful and inspiring amphitheatre built in Vedbygårds Park in 1995.
